42 incredible climbers taking on the 3 Peaks in 24 hours — Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon — with 5 amazing people in the support team.
Well, as many of you will remember from the posts and videos we shared throughout the challenge, this group weren’t just taking part…
THEY WERE MAKING MILES FOR SMILES HISTORY. 🏆
Not only were they the biggest group ever to take on a challenge for Miles for Smiles, they also went on to smash the yearly fundraising record for any challenge in our 11-year history.
The previous record stood at just over £61,000…
But this incredible team didn’t just beat it.
They absolutely obliterated it. 🤯
£85,898.54 ❤️
EIGHTY-FIVE THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED AND NINETY-EIGHT POUNDS AND FIFTY-FOUR PENCE.

That is an absolutely staggering, outrageous amount of money raised by 47 incredible people.
For a charity of our size, the difference this money will make is quite simply immeasurable.
With the number of families we are currently supporting, alongside the huge number of new applications coming through our doors every single day, this money will allow us to continue supporting our existing families whilst also giving us the opportunity to help even more families who desperately need us.
But this challenge was about so much more than the money.
We genuinely cannot put into words what all 47 of you now mean to Miles for Smiles.
As you saw throughout the challenge, so many of you started as complete strangers.
And I know the word friendship can sometimes be thrown around far too easily these days…
But what happened over those 48 hours away from home was something incredibly special.
People pushed each other through exhaustion, supported each other when it got tough, laughed together, cried together, and ultimately crossed those finish lines together.
Strangers became friends. Friends became family. ❤️
And perhaps the biggest compliment of all…
44 out of the 47 of you had already signed up for next year’s challenge within just a few days of returning home! 🤣⛰️
We honestly couldn’t have wished for a better group of people to make history with.
